Modern day. Just after lunch - nap time. Yarder Elementary School. She is feeling tired and has her blanket in her hand. She brings the soft, slightly tattered blanket up to her face. She gets up to go to the restroom but has to go ask Ms. Jones for permission. "Can I go potty, please?"

There she sat on her flowered mat, sleepily looking around the brightly decorated classroom of Yarder Elementary. All of her fellow classmates we dozing quietly beside her, stirring only occasionally. Emma couldn't go to sleep today though, no matter how hard she tried. She grabbed her blanket and brought the tattered fabric up to her nose, smelling the familiar scents of home.

Then, she had a brilliant idea. She couldn't fall asleep in the classroom, but counting those same ceiling tiles over and over was becoming a bore. She could take an adventure to the restroom. There was toilet paper to flush down the toilet an entire roll at a time. Sinks to clog up with paper towels. Funny faces to make in the mirror. The opportunities were endless. She couldn't wait to finally get to try the things she had seen on TV at home. Only one obstacle stood in her way.
Sheepishly, Emma asked Mrs. Battle, "Can I go potty, please?"

Good job! Emma is precious.
