Sam Fredrickson was a normal, everyday clerk in a mail room until the day he met Brisco, a wide-eyed and happy golden lab. Until that day, Sam would wake in the mornings and walk outside and retrieve his newspaper. On this fine morning, Brisco met Sam at the front door with the newspaper in his mouth. Brisco gently dropped the paper at Sam's feet. Sam picked up the paper and rubbed Brisco and motioned for Brisco to leave. Brisco, clearly upset with Sam's lack of gratitude, proceeded to enter Sam's closet and eat his shoes. Brisco was later put down.
